Join the party at the Join the party at the San Jose Flycasters Annual Awards Banquet and Conservation Fundraiser on February 1, 2014

Flycasters, Inc. of San Jose would like to invite all NCCFF club members, family & friends to a party.  The Flycasters Conservation Committee is hosting our 2014 Annual Banquet and Conservation Fundraiser with all proceeds from the raffle and silent auction will go to the Marty Seldon Memorial Conservation Fund for local fisheries conservation projects and others throughout California and beyond.

Our committee has really been hard at work developing a great array of silent auction and bucket raffle prizes. We already have over 100 prizes with a total estimated retail value of over $30,000 and more donations are continuing to come in.  We’ve got restaurants gift certificates, fly fishing gear, hotel and resort stays, and 2 for 1 guided fly fishing trips, art and fly plates, wine and wine tastings, and a lot more. The Grand Prize is a fly fishing trip to Argentina. You can view the Prize List by going to: http://www.flycasters.org/file-sharing-test.html, select the “2014 Conservation Fundraiser” and then select “2014 Fundraiser Prize List.”

Our quest speaker is Ken Hanley, a well-known fly fishing instructor, creator of instructional DVDs, a frequent fly fishing show presenter, writer of six books on fly fishing and outdoor adventures and the 2005 inductee to the Northern California Fly Fishing Hall of Fame. Ken’s presentation will be titled, “Extend your Fly Fishing with Videos.”

The gala event will begin at 6:00 PM on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Cupertino Quinlan Community Center, 10185 N. Stelling Ave., Cupertino, CA.  There will be beer and wine, appetizers and a buffet dinner in a great modern facility all for only $40/person.  If you would like to stay overnight, lodging is available at discounted prices at the Marriott Courtyard Cupertino Hotel.

Save the date now and plan on joining us.  You can buy your tickets online using PayPal on the club web site at: http://www.flycasters.org/meetings/online-store.html, then select the number of tickets and, using PayPal, you can make your payment.
