Committees

Bay-Delta Committee

The Bay-Delta committee, previously known The Striped Bass Committee of the NCC/FFF was formed 1998. The Committee consists of anglers who are concerned about the conservation and restoration of the wild, anadromous, California striped bass fishery (naturally spawned Bay/Delta/ocean fish). The Committee's motto is simple: More Fish ... Bigger Fish ... More Fun.

Presently Doug Lovell and his committee have proposed changes to protect this valuable fishery.

Steelhead Committee

Our Wild Steelhead Committee actively promotes protection, improving, and restoration wild steelhead fisheries to sustainable levels. The mission of this committee is to heighten the visibility of the wild steelhead restoration challenge and promote implementation of key restoration initiatives. These restoration actions notably include opening of barriers to fish passage.

Our current project champions the modification of a significant barrier to threatened migrating Salmon & Steelhead.
